Jennifer Leal, MA, LPC-Associate, earned a master's degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. She is supervised by Dr. Cecily Batiste Dawson 

Jennifer has a diverse background in mental health and social services. She has provided education and support to individuals involved with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and has worked with clients receiving both inpatient and outpatient substance use treatment. Additionally, she has served families engaged in Multisystemic Therapy (MST), focusing on youth exhibiting antisocial and criminal behaviors. Her experience also includes serving families involved in the child welfare system, where she developed a strong passion for advocacy and trauma-informed care. 

Jennifer lives in Montgomery, TX with her husband, daughter and two bonus children along with 2 dogs and a tortoise. She enjoys practicing self-care, photography, and traveling with her family.
